未来がないのは調べないで書く人間とそれを鵜呑みにする人間【追記あり】

　あえて言うとか書く前にもう少し調べたほうがよいかとも思うのでした。

　ざっと読んでも「圧倒力取材力」の源泉である『記者クラブ制度』なんかにまったく触れていないのが不思議なのです。癒着の温床でもあるんですけどもね。
　逆に言うと、ネット媒体の強みである『ゲリラ的取材』についてもまったく触れていません。触れていないということは、取材の裏づけの大切さや速報性、取材元秘匿義務などのジャーナリズムの根源についても触れてないって事になります。コレじゃまったく意味がない。
　「ネットはゲリラ的云々……」と書くと語弊がありそうですから具体例を挙げますと、たとえば災害時、あるいは事故現場に誰かがカメラ付携帯電話を持っていればすぐさま「報道」が始まるわけです。あとは……　わかるよな。

　しかし、ここ数年で何度か巻き起こった祭り的な動きとしての「流出した数枚の写真からあっという間に現場を特定して突撃する…　」とかいうのはまったく知られてないんでしょうかね、こういう人には。（それ自体がよいことだとは全然言ってませんがｗ　まぁ仕切られたメディアの人にはできない芸当だということです）
　「内部告発」とかいうキーワードもありますが提示するだけでさらっと流しておきます。

　また、「広告モデル」「サブスクリプションモデルの限界」などと書かれていますが、それ以前に再販制度について触れていないのもちょっと不自然ですな。
　広告 ビーグル ビークルとしての捕らえ方として今現在もとりあえず大きな地位を占めているチラシ広告についてもまったく触れていません。
　それらを裏付けるものとしての押し紙・積み紙についても然り。

　もうね、なにがなにやら。
　ここまで読んできてやっと気づいたのが、この記事を載せているのがITメディアだということです。
　ネット媒体だと記事の内容チェックが甘いってことなんでしょうかね。（笑）

　もっとも、新聞社やテレビ局でも現場ではお粗末なものです。大宅文庫や国会図書館を使いこなせない輩がそこらじゅうにいますし、バラエティの現場ではネタは怖いことにネット検索頼りだったり。ちょっと賢くなると大学の貧乏准教授あたりにネタを借りる程度。これじゃ学生がWikipediaを丸写ししてるのと大差ありません。

　さてさて。
　かれこれもう20年近く前にリクルート社の研究所「メディア・デザイン・センター」で学生時代に研究員という名前のバイトをしていたのですが、ここでの研究のひとつに「デジタルメディア時代における紙メディアのメリット」というものがありました。
　ちなみに主任研究員はボトルメールの永井義人さんで、研究所の責任者は杉並区立和田中学校の藤原和博さんだったりします。

　ここで出たある結論というのは、

ビジネスモデルの問題点と媒体の問題点の違いも分からないのに、偉そうに他人の文章を批判するのは、他人のスーツから財布を抜き取るようなペテン商売ばっかやつてるクソ電通に長いこといたからじゃないの? 屁理屈と知ったかぶりとハッタリだけで世の中渡れないんだよな。クソ電通にいてりゃ別だけど。そのうちほんとに他人のスーツから財布抜いたりすんなよな。

　まぁ匿名小僧の言い分など無視してもいいんですが昼飯前にざっと書いておきましょうか。

　ビジネスモデルの話といいますが、月額料金制度（店売りもか）の話をするときに「再販制度」について触れないのはちょっとおかしな話です。（新規参入しづらい業界であるという視点からも言えるのですが、それは記者クラブ制度との兼ね合いもありますので書きません）

　また実際問題（日本の）新聞が（日本の）他メディアに対し優位性を保っていられるのは「宅配システム」と、そこからもたらされる「チラシ」のシステムなわけです。ここに対する視点もない。

　また記事冒頭で『新聞社の「圧倒的取材力」』とぶち上げていましたが、中を見てみると単なる記者の数の話になっています。あほらしくて話になりません。
　人数だけでいえば街場の市民の方が圧倒的に多く、また専門知識も一般人の方が高いのです。（これはテレビ局も同じ）

　ここで（取材力という意味で）の新聞メディア側の優位点を論ずる時に単なる人数の多さにのみ終始しているのは視野が狭いとしかいいようがありません。取材資金や過去からの人脈、校閲機能などの話をしたほうがよっぽど理解できます。

　blog本文にも書きましたが、ネットメディア（一般人を含む）との「圧倒的取材力｣の差を語るには

　少なくとも↑この視点がなくてはならないでしょう。

なんかちょっと盛り上がりつつありますねぇ。笑

御指摘されている点は概ねごもっともと思いますが、若者の活字離れと広告収入減により
今の新聞のビジネスモデルでは立ち行かなくなるよという単純且つ今更な記事なのですから
そんなに目くじら立てるまでもないのでは。
こんなの鵜呑みにする輩、ITmediaの読者でもそうそうはいないでしょう。

ちなみに記者についての話ですが、要は人件費の議論なので
揚げ足とって街場の市民と比較してもねぇ。。。といった感じです。
また折込チラシについてですが、パチンコ業界様様で
なんとか保てている媒体をそんなに強調なさらなくてもよろしいかと。

　新聞月額料金の販売店-本社の配分率とかはご存知ですよね？（笑）
　それでもなおチラシがアレすると、全国宅配という他国に無い新聞システムが瓦解するかもしれませんし、ひいては媒体としての価値もかなり減ずることになりますよね。
　という流れがあった上で「新聞終了のお知らせ」というエントリーを去年だかに書いたのでした。（本文参照）
　また、「レイアウトの意味性」なんてレベルの話は何十年も前からELネットなんていう商品があるわけですし今更感も倍増でございます。

　また、No Nameさんのコメント前段にあります↓この部分ですが、

　既に20年近く前に門外漢であるR社内で「紙媒体の優位性」という研究がなされていて、それがDNAというか遠因となってR25やHotPepperといった媒体が出てきた（たぶん）ということも指摘しておきます。
　というかこっちが本筋ですし、もっともっとやりようがあるでしょう。僕はどちらかというと「旧来メディアはなかなか死なないよ」派です。
　むしろネット媒体に対しては、おっしゃるところの「単純且つ今更な記事」を問題点山積のままスルーして掲載してしまうという編集機能の低さが今後の課題となるでしょうね。この点は単純な「人件費」ではなく「編集システム」に踏み込んでしまいますが。

再販制度や記者クラブ問題は、いまや新聞のビジネスモデルの問題点に全く含まれてはおりません。あくまで媒体のあり方の問題です。ネットのせいでビジネスモデルの根幹が崩壊しているのですから、そういう問題はもはや無視してもいい位の話ですよ。再販制度があろうがなかろうが、記者クラブ制度があろうがなかろうが、いまとなっては大勢に影響を及ぼしません。だからそういう瑣末な問題がいちいち「指摘されていない」とわめくのは、前述の方がおっしゃるとおり、単なる揚げ足取りですね。市民記者云々のくだりは確かに、全くの揚げ足とりの屁理屈ですね。

媒体としての新聞（広義に紙媒体としてもいいですが）は
そう簡単にはなくなりはしないと私も思います。
電子ペーパーが技術＆コストの両面で「実用化」されるまでは。

ただ、ビジネスモデルとしての新聞（現状の新聞のビジネスモデルと言うのが正しいですね）は
新崎幸夫的表現をすればいずれ死ぬのではないかと思います。
だから築地の電電局もそれこそ電通さんの力を借りて日々頑張っている訳です。笑

未来は「ある」とか「ない」とか、それは「白紙である」とBTTFのドク博士も言うておるのじゃ。元記事は「人は必ず死ぬ」と言っているようなものでほとんど意味はない。少なくとも100年以上続いてきた新聞は偉大なメディアであり、それが今後続くかどかは今後の新聞人のありようによる。Google様だって、30年後に存続してるかどうか誰も分からんでしょが。高校生の感想文みたいなレポートに反応するこの虚しさよ。（以上おわり）

　が、全然話が進んでなくて面白くないのです。汐留や連休後から赤坂に引っ越してきた連中は「会社からじゃ書き込めないｗ」とか言いつつmixiやメールでなんやかやと書いてきてますが……、お前らこっちにコピペするぞ。

　さて、寄せられたコメント群を一言でぶった切ると、

　まずココからしてありえないのです。
　媒体特性があってこそのビジネスモデルであり、簡単に切り分けられると思ってる人がいるということ自体信じられません。と言うか、元の記事がそうなってないでしょうに。

　こちらでは学生さん向きに「新聞紙流通」と「新聞社」とシンプルに二つに分けられていますが、まず確認せねばならないのは現在の新聞のビジネスモデルは（当然ながら）「全国宅配される新聞紙流通」と言う特性ありきで成り立っています。（あるいは地域内、ですか）
　会社というものは、そして読者というものは生き物であり一気にすげ替えることなぞできないのですから、現状を踏まえた上で今後本当に生き残るためのビジネスモデルを云々するしかないのです。
　その上で、例えばリンク先の最終段落をピックアップしてみると、

　ここら辺がキーになってくるとも言えるでしょうね。
　割とイメージできるのは素材提供的な市民記者（嫌いな言葉ですが）と、それをオーガナイズというかオーソライズというか編集（事実確認や対論審議、各論併記…）する機関記者という感じかも知れませんがそうでないかも知れません。（と、ぼやかしておく。上の二行を前提としているわけですし）
　それに加えて「紙の媒体特性」を織り込んでいくというのが筋道でしょうに。
　ま、誰も「わっふるわっふる」書かないので触れませんけどもね。ｗ

　次にmixiの方に寄せられた某氏のコメントを勝手に採録。

　お世話になっております。

　元記事がアホすぎるということは火を見るより明らかなんですが、むしろ何が面白かったかということをもう少しメタな視点で解説しますと…

・新聞をネット媒体と比べて云々している記事がネット媒体に載った
・しかし内容があほらしくて突っ込みどころ満載
・「ちょっと待て、これ個人のブログじゃなくてオフィシャルの記事だろ？」
・ここでネット媒体の編集能力・校閲能力・リテラシーの低さが露呈（現状の新聞と較べても、です）

　と言うところが面白かったからなんですね。（こういう書き方をするのは面白みがないんですがｗ）　つまりタイトルの「それを鵜呑みにする人間」＝「スルーして載せてしまった編集者」と言うことでもあります。

　翻って元記事の内容を見ていくと、タイトルの通りに「新聞に未来はない」という論調ですが、それは内容的にネット媒体に負けてしまうのではなく、単に現状のビジネスモデルが実情についていってないからなのです。
　ではこのまま行くとどうなるか。
　記事品質の低いネット媒体ばかりになってしまうと言うことですね。
　逆に言うと、既存媒体の中でも既にオンラインでほぼ完結するモノを対象とした媒体（例：　http://www.4gamer.net/ ）のように、媒体特性が（取材対象・ユーザーともに）ネットに特化したものに注目してみると、ほんの少し先が見越せる可能性もあるかもしれません。ないかもしれないけど。（てきとー）

おはようございます。ご指摘ありがとうございます。でも、あなたは根本的に間違っています。私は議論をふっかけては全くいません。議論ではありませんよ。明らかな「事実誤認」があると書いているだけです。

　まずひとつめ。私が「事実誤認」と指摘している件と、リンク先の記事の話は全く関係ありません。KQZという人が「リンク先の記事を読め」といったのは、話を本筋からそらし、そのうえで「●●については過去記事で述べています」という所謂後だしジャンケンで自分を有利な立場にしようとする戦略ですから。そんな幼稚な戦略に乗る馬鹿はいませんよ。

　ふたつめ。

どちらが先かは別として、媒体特性とビジネスモデルが
切り離せないものというのは当たり前ですね。
しかしながら、元記事がビジネスモデルの視点からしか語られていないのですから
（タイトルや章立ては一見媒体論のようですが）
批判なさるのであればまずは元記事のビジネスモデルに関する考察の甘さを指摘するか
「媒体特性があってこそのビジネスモデルであり、」ってとこからはじめないとねぇ、
と思った次第です。

それから

とのことですが、元記事にもそんなことは書かれてないですし

　↑ということを強くうたわれている人がいますが（匿名だと指摘しづらいから困るんだよな）、これに対しては既に「間違っている」とはっきり書いてあります。
　大体、元のLink先を読んでないのでしょう？　だったら何が分かると？

　元記事では、

「新聞はネットに比べて取材力が高いのが優位である。→それは人数が多いからだ」

　とだけ書いてありました。
　これに対して「取材力の根源である記者クラブについて触れていないのはおかしい」と書いたわけです。新興のネット媒体との明らかなる違いはここにあるのですから。
　さらに元記事へのカウンターという形で「新聞社の規模の取材力だけをいうのなら数多あるゲリラ的取材＝所謂市民記者の数だってバカにできないだろう。現に……」という流れて書いたのですが、まったく文脈を読めてないってことなんでしょう。
　ここで「元記事を読んでくれ」と書いたら「読む必要は無い」ですと。
　あほらし。
　話にならん。

　一方、広告が取れなくなりつつあることに関してですが、現在の「新聞」には「新聞という媒体特性」があるからこそ広告主は金を払っているわけです。
　ここらへんの広告主の機微に関しては過去記事で触れていましたのでURLを列挙しましたが、それも読みたくないと。
　ったく、どんだけ手間かけさせるのやら……。
　二年も三年も前に書いてあることを後出しじゃんけん呼ばわりされてもいかんともしがたいですし。
　加えて「ビジネスモデル」という言葉を単なる金勘定の話だけだと思ってるのはレベルが低すぎますな。

　そして元記事にはその視点が全く無い。

And the SDK does make it easy to create virtual devices to test on. But that's also one of the reasons game developers love iPhone ¨C there's only one screen size and one resolution. So they can potentially get apps out faster. Not hating on Android (especially when you name your outfit ), but being a fanboy with no objectivity isn't healthy either.
