GW前半のこと

　遅ればせながらまとめて書き込んでみる。備忘録。

金曜日
　庭の花水木に花が咲くと花粉症も治まる。
　ここ数年そんな感じであり、まさに花水木が満開だった。


金曜日2
夜のこと。
　新宿歌舞伎町にAbbot's Choice新宿店がオープンして間もないのですが、知り合いがくるたびに行くことになるので一週間で5度ほど行ったことになる。
　この日も友人のM氏が挨拶に顔を出したいというので行くことに。
　まずは近場で飯を食おうということになり、誘われたのはあまり広くはない中華料理屋。
　一杯目に出てきた青島ビールが本物。そしてつまみが妙にうまい。
　M氏と親父さんは仲良さげに話をしている。
　漏れてくる内容からすると、この店只者ではないことがなんとなくわかってきた。

　大体M氏の人となりを説明するのは尋常ではない。経歴自体がレアなので特定できてしまうのだ。なんというか本職がなんだか判らないのだが芸能介護エステといろいろな事業をしつつ永田町にも長く出入りしていて二階堂何某とよく間違われたりしているのだが、しれっとダイナースのブラックを持ってるようなよくわからない類の人間である。
　傍らに立つ店主は片手に手毬茶が入ったタンブラーを持ち、首には太い金の喜平ネックレス、腕にはロレックス。由緒正しき中華料理店の主の姿である。
　焼酎のウーロン茶割りに切り替えてみると、ペットボトルのウーロン茶が非常に旨くて二度見してしまった。店で淹れた高級ウーロン茶と中身を入れ替えているらしい。また適当に見繕ってもらった料理がいちいちうまい、味付けが日本のものじゃないよね、腐乳好きなんだよねー、なんていう話をしていると、どうやら厨師は特級だか一級だかを持っている人間を引き抜いてきたのだという。
　この大きさの店にしては腕が奢りすぎているような気もするが、来ているお客さんの筋を見ればこれくらいは当たり前なのだとすぐに知ることになる。
　店主は中国と日本の間でビジネスをし始めて数十年になり、僕でも知っているような有名な中国共産党幹部と若いころから昵懇なのだそうな。さっきから片言の日本語で奥さんと談笑している気のいい調理師さんの出国ビザも三日で取得できたのだとか。
　深夜になると歌舞伎町の様々な筋の歴々が情報交換しつつ本土の味をかみ締める。そんな店だということが薄ぼんやりと分かってきたのだが、この日は例の「長野聖火リレー」の前日である。
　奥の丸テーブルには学生と思しき若者が三人難しそうな顔をして打ち合わせをしている。地図やエクセルの表みたいなものもあったかな。時折トイレに立つときに見ると北京オリンピックのTシャツを着ている。
　ははぁん。
　調理師夫妻はというとさっきからニコニコしながら時刻表を見てはしゃいでいる。

　「シャチョウさん、明日長野行ってもいいかな？」「いいけどちゃんと帰ってきて営業してくれよな」「何時間くらいかかるの？」「新幹線だと早いけど高いよ」「いくら？」「往復で3万くらいするんじゃない。一人で」「イイヨイイヨ」

　本当に楽しみで堪らないという夫妻の表情にちょっと戸惑ってしまった。

　微妙な表情を読み取った店主は「まぁ仕方ないよ、お祭りだし」と笑いかけてくる。
　奥の学生は？　と聞いてみると共産党の学生リーダーだとこともなげに言う。「やつらはこれからバスで乗りつけるみたいね」と。「10万人集まるよ」と厨房の奥から厨師がにこやかに話しかけてくる。
　程なくして三人の学生が立ち上がり、厨房の夫妻になにやら中国語で声をかけて出て行こうとしていた。手と肩には大きな荷物。手提げ袋から突き出た棒のように見える物は旗振り棒だろう。その表情は日本の大学生にはちょっと見当たらないくらいキリリとしたもので、ちょっとだけ見ほれてしまった。（言い過ぎ言い過ぎｗ）
　店主は当たり前のように料金は取らない。

　……と、まだまだネタはたくさんあるのですがこの辺にしておいて、なんというか日本の中華租界の端っこを見てしまったような気がしたのでメモ。


行きそびれた
　5/14に西麻布にオープンする「か波羅」のレセプションに行きそびれ～。
　京都カルバドールで隣り合わせになった上田さんプロデュースのお店なのですが、後日アボットチョイスの泉さんが別件で京都に行った際に、別のバーでやはり隣り合わせになって意気投合したという変なご縁なのです。
　マイミクさんから「友里某がまたどこかで暴れてます（笑）」と情報をもらいましたが、恨み節ばかりの味音痴の爺さんなんてどーでもいいので言及せず。


土曜日
　でじほんのはっしーさんというかユビキタスエンタテインメントの橋本さんが「携帯コンテンツ系の人と飲み会をアボットチョイス新宿店でやろうと思うんです」という話があったので参加。
　しかし内実は「美女が橋本さんを囲む会」でありました。（いや、携帯コンテンツ系でもあるんですが）
　ここで初めて「もしかしてKQZさんですか？　blog読んでます。Twitterもフォローしてます」などというこっぱずかしい事を言われるという経験をしてしまう。これもshi3zさんのせいらしい。（たぶん）
　遅くなってからひげひげ団の二次会の流れでやっさん（アスキースティックとかネジコンとか某コンシューマー機とか鉄騎コントローラーとかとか、ありとあらゆるゲームコントローラーの製作をしている神）、ゆたてさん（ワンダーモモとかの才人）、ひげいとうといった濃いぃぃい面子がやってきたのでスクウェアエニックスの人をご紹介したり。


月曜日
　夜。
　都内某所で岸田一郎さんと打ち合わせ。内容は秘密。
　その後時間があったのでODINに電話をしてみると菊地さんは恵比寿にいるという。
　季節的にトマトなのでタクシーを飛ばして一路恵比寿へ。
　んで入ってみてビックリ、満席でカウンターのはしっこのラスト1席しか開いていませんでした。繁盛してますなぁ。

　「リッツカールトンの高野社長を紹介してくれてありがとうございます」とか「昨日オガちゃん社長がヘキサゴンの流れで上地雄輔くんと来てましたよ」なんて話をしつつ出てきました。

　コレ。
　ODIN特製のブラッディシーザーです。
　相変わらずうみゃい～。
　つかお吸い物でしょコレ。アサリだけじゃなくて蜆なんかも入れてるし。それも減塩海水にしてから煮詰めるとかもうやりすぎ。龍吟かってくらい。また分かりづらいけどグラスが綺麗なんだな。
　すっかり堪能して家路に着く。
