酉の市から西麻布またぎ、のちアボットチョイス

　土曜日のこと。
　一の酉の前夜祭ということで、マラカス電気科学用の熊手を買いに花園神社に集合。

　「どうぶつ奇想天外!」や「ヘキサゴン」でおなじみのオガちゃん社長とは首尾よく落ち合えたのですが、回転寿司選手権チャンピオンのヨネさんがきやがらない。後で聞くと「六本木でパーティー」だったという。相変わらず浮世離れしすぎである。

　

　てなことで前の熊手をお焚きあげしてしてもらい、毎年買っている巣鴨高橋で新しい熊手をゲット。
　ねずみ年だけにかわいらしいネズミのマスコットが鎮座しております。

　熊手を持ってタクシーを拾い、一路またぎへ。
　小笠原さんから「またぎの住所調べようと思って検索したらさ、鈴木Bが日記に書いてんだよ。カッキー紹介したの？」とか聞かれてしまう。
　紹介したのはたぶんストロウドッグ小泉くんではないかと思うわけですがそれはいいとして、確かに逗子時代は店の名前を書いちゃうと予約が取れなくなるのでわざと「逗子の獣肉屋」とかって書いていたのでこのblog検索には引っ掛かりませんですよ、へーそれにしても鈴木Bはなんであんなに飯食ってるのに太らないんだろ、そんなん僕知りませんがな……　なんて話をしていたら店に到着。前は逗子まで電車で一時間以上かかっていたのに毎月二回くらいは行ってたのを考えると隔世の感があります。

　中に入るとさっそく仲畑組のTシャツを着たおやじさんが火をおこしてました。（逗子時代は仲畑貴志さんの別荘のすぐ近所だったのです。ちなみに春先の筍は仲畑さんちの裏山からいただいたもので絶品でした）
　まずはビールを飲んでまったりしていると、放送作家の福本君の巨体が見えてきました。
　今日はここ一年ほどいろいろな仕事を手伝ってもらっている福本くんに加え、無駄に最高学府を出ている女流放送作家見習いの杉本さんも呼んでのいわば慰労会なのですな。

　「あいよー。今日は頑張っていろんなの入れといたよ」といいつつ、まず最初に出てきたのは刺身盛り。

　メジと石鯛とイサキだったかな？　日本酒に切り替える。メジがもんのすごく旨かった。
　お次は鹿。

　わ、なんか色温度バラバラだな…

　まだ季節には早いけどこれはかなーり旨い。あー旨い日本酒持ち込みたかった。

　「KQZさん、今日はよ、すんげー甘鯛用意してあっからよ」とにこやかにおやじさんがやってくる。
　見ると手元にはまばゆいばかりに光る身のぶ厚いアマダイの一夜干しが鎮座ましましていた。
　思わず周囲の別のお客さんが「ほぉ~」と溜息をもらしていた。（マジでマジで）
　いやしかしこちらは4人である。それも一人は女性だ（一応）。
　涙をのんで「半身だけにしてください…」と言って出てきたのがコレ。

　でかい。身が厚い。色がいい。
　いつになく気合い入れて焼番をつとめて最高の焼き加減に調節。
　完璧に仕上げたのですが、匂いがもうたまらんので写真は撮れませんでした。
　んもうね、もんのすごく旨いのよ。
　皮目のすこし焦げた香りと身の脂のあまい香り、むれた肉の凝縮した甘みの微粒子が鼻から入ってきたとおもったら箸が伸びて口にぱくりと落としこんだらあぶらが乗りまくりで唾液がどばーっと出てきて噛むほどもなく肉がほろりとほどけて舌に甘味塩味うま味がどわっと広がり酒が旨い……　という感じ。（なんだそりゃ）
　あっという間に骨までしゃぶって完食。
　元々5人のところが4人になったわけで、「もう一人か二人増えればもっといろいろ食べられるよね」ということになりSPA!の光明くん、久保田アナ、某カリスマ編集者など知り合い関係に電話やメールで招集をかけてみるも、さすがに土曜の20時とかになると人が集まらない。ちぇっ。

　「もうちょっと食べたかったな……」とちょっと残念がるわれらの風情を見せていたら、またも出てきたまたぎの大将。
　今度は手にあの白いやつが乗ってますよお前さん。えぇえぇ大好物のアレ。

　キジです。
　手羽や脚など骨のついたところは火が回るのに時間がかかるのでまず炭火の上に乗せておいてから、まずはささ身の部分を生でいただく。
　ねっとりとしたやわやわの肉が歯にも美味しいのです。
　至福。
　皮のついた身の薄切りをさっとあぶって食べると、ささみの淡白な濃厚さとうって変わってうまみのエキスのような油がじわっと口の中に広がってこれまた旨いのです。
　やっぱ、鳥関係ではだしが一番うまいのは雉だなぁ。
　おやじさんに「今年は六本木でも年越し蕎麦キジのだしで作ってくれるの？」と聞いてみると「そんなもんめんどくさくてやんねーよ」といなされてしまう。このおっさんはいつもこれだ。（笑）

　んめーんめーと骨までしゃぶっていると、またにやにやとおやっさんが皿を持ってくる。
　「いやー今日はあれだよ、金目もいいの用意しといたからさ」
　「え？　昼金目？（わくわく）」
　「あったりめぇよ」

　で、これが来たわけです。昼金目の焼しゃぶだーーぃ。

　生で食べてももちろん美味しいのですが（ちょっと皮が口に残るきらいがありますが）、ささっとひと炙りすると驚くほどのあぶらが浮かんできて極上の甘味に変わるのです。ぜいたくすぎです今日はとっても。（倒置法）キジともアマダイとも違ったこってりとしたあぶらの味に、ほろりと崩れる身の味が絶妙にうまいのです。

　で、締めは鍋です。

　

　さすがにおなかいっぱいだったので小さめの鍋にしたのですが（サムネイルが小さいのは写真の写りが悪いから）、スギタケがめっちゃくちゃ旨かったのでした。
　持参した黒七味をぱらりと振りかけていただきます＆あっという間にご馳走様。
　最後の最後にいつもの絶品すいとんを食べたかったのですが「そんなに汁飲んじゃったらつくれねーよ」「だってうまいんだもん」「おらしんねー」「作ってよー」「じゃすいとんは無理だけど雑炊なら少し作れんべ」「やたーっ」なんてやり取りがあって雑炊をちらりと食べて最高潮に幸せ気分に。

　食後いろいろとくっしゃべりながらもサスガは手錬れの放送作家おがちゃん社長、話はおやじの持っているスーパー紀州犬（猟犬）へとつながる。渋る（というかめんどくさがりの）おやじをなんとか納得させて「どうぶつ奇想天外!」で取材に行くことにあっさり決定。
　次は猟の後にまたぎ仲間を含めての宴会に紛れ込むことに決定。
　呼べる人数は限られてしまったのでODIN菊地さんとミシュランで星を取ったとかいう噂もある龍吟の山本さん、すし泉の小泉さんあたりかなぁ。

　相当お腹いっぱいになったので、歩きながらAbbot's Choiceに移動。
　ビールを飲みながら「誰か呼ばない？」みたいな話になり、無駄な学歴でおなじみの杉本が「私の同級生のOLを呼びましょう」ということになり二名招集。東大卒ですっとぼけたキャラの女子が三人もそろうとなにがなにやらで結構面白かったのですがもう最後は何が何だか分からず家に帰ってソファーに寝っ転がって起きたら朝だったのでした。

　あー長い一日だった。
