梅酒逍遥と日本人がいない街

　近所にBarが出来てからかどうかはいざ知らず、ここ数年家で飲むことがめっきり減ってしまい結構な量と種類のお酒が退蔵されているのです。
　一部はAbbot's Choiceに引き取られていたりするのですが、封を開けているようなお酒だとナカナカ使い道も限定されるというもの。

　ということで梅酒を作って使い切ってしまおうと思い立ったが吉日、奈良産のよさげな有機栽培青梅を入手しかねてより所蔵していた氷砂糖も棚から出して準備万端。

　お酒はどんなラインナップかというとウォッカ2種（ストリチナヤ、スミノフ）、皮袋入りパンペロ・アニバセリオ、オールド・オーバー・ホルト、カミュVSOP、カシャーサ51、黒霧島、里の曙、ゴードン・シトラスジン、ホセ・クエルボ・エスペシャルあたり。

　あとは広口瓶があればいいのですが、ここ数年自家製の梅酒を飲み忘れていて減っていなかったのです。残っている梅酒は魔王で漬けていたり、ラム酒で漬けていたりといった極上品の3年以上モノでおいそれと一緒の瓶に移し変えたくもありませんし。

　てなことで夜になってから広口瓶を探しに徘徊していたのです。

　まずはミッドタウン内のご近所スーパー「プレッセ」。
　確か数日前には置いてあったはずなのですがキャンペーン用だったらしく売り切れており入荷は数日かかるとのこと。残念。
　エスカレーターで地上へと向かっていくと、四谷界隈で地主のどら息子をやってらっしゃる某氏が新しい彼女と連れ立って降りてくるところと遭遇。もう一度エスカレーターで降りてしばし歓談。（めんどくさそうなことはmixiの方しか書かないようにしようっと）

　さてお次はドンキホーテだ。
　しかし広口瓶は見つからない。
　ま、液体ベープにして乾電池タイプのものと、エアコン掃除用のスプレーを買えたのでよしとする。

　流れでAbbot's Choice六本木店に行き、イタリア行き直前の高橋店長とちょっとだけお話しをする。

　そしてお次はこれまたご近所の比較的大衆的なスーパーAZUMAである。24時を過ぎても結構お客さんがいるのは赤坂だからだろうか。
　我が愛しの広口瓶はというと、入り口すぐにサンプルとして梅酒が漬かっている瓶が置いてあり「これは見本です」と掲示してある。ということはどこかに在庫があるはずだよな。
　早速レジのお兄ちゃんに聞いてみるとこれが日本語が非常にたどたどしいのだ。何度言ってもわけが判らなかったらしく、こちらが言うがままに入り口まで同行して札を見て一言「あーぁ、ザイコ。在庫ありません」
　おい、ホントかよ。

　埒が明かなかったので仕方がなく、TBS前のマルエツ系24時間スーパー、フードエクスプレスに向かう。こうなりゃ意地である。
　こちらの店も結構なお客さんの数だ。時間も時間だけに陳列物の入れ替えなどもあり活気がある。
　さて赤い帽子のにくいヤツこと梅酒用の広口瓶であるが、入り口すぐに青梅の置いてあるコーナーがあやしい。しかし広口瓶は存在していない。しかししかしよく見ると隣には置いてあったと思しきスペースが空いている。早速スタッフのお兄ちゃんに「梅酒用の広口瓶なんですが…」と問いかけてみると、どうにもへんてこなオーラを返された。あちゃー、こいつも中国人かよ。
　えへらへらと笑いながら「奥にわかる人います」と言われてしまう。
　仕方なく奥に進むが日本人はいない。
　レジのお兄ちゃんも中国だか韓国だかのエラ張り系で「わからない」「俺に聞くな」というジェスチャー＆オーラを返してきている。
　こんだけ広い店で日本人は出入り口に立ってる60がらみのガードマンのおっちゃんしかいないのかよ。

　その後しおしおとしながら吉池に向かってみると閉店していたし。

　ということで一時間半に亘って繰り広げられた六本木赤坂広口瓶逍遥の旅は残念な結果となってしまったわけです。
　今から思えば肉のハナマサには瓶があったような気もしますが、中国産の食材ばかり置いてるような店だから瓶も危なそうなので行かなくて正解だったかも。（と、ちょっと悔しげに書いてみる）

　しかし深夜のスーパーには日本人はいないんだよなぁ。
　ちょっとした海外気分であることよ。
