感覚のカニバリズム
かなり昔からなにかとお世話になっていた坂井直樹さんがblogを開設されてから数ヶ月。
ものすごくエネルギッシュに更新されていて毎日読むのが楽しみなのですが、
今日はその中でピンと引っかかった言葉があったので備忘録。

僕はブランドのカリスマ度を計る方法として
「このブランドロゴを入れ墨にしたいかどうか」と考えるようにしている。
もともとブランドの語源はバーンド（焼きつける）という意味をもち、
献身的という言葉を身体を張って示すには
入れ墨ほどふさわしいものはなく、
みずからの肉体の一部として取り込みたい同一化したいほど
愛情を持たせるブランドはそう多くはない。
そして前の仕事ですれ違っていたというutoさん（今は無きgreeで知り合ったような気がしますが）のblogから。

多田道太郎氏の「あまのじゃく日本風俗学」を取り上げながら、
- 感覚を劣等と高等にあえて分けると「劣等：味覚、触覚、臭覚」「高等：視覚と聴覚」となる
- 分節化できない、つまり文節→統合化できない劣等感覚は近代化することができない
という箇所を上げられています。
＃実物の本を読んでない上に勝手に換骨奪胎してますが、誤読こそが進化の源と似非進化論を掲げつつ勝手に進めます。だってこの本いまは売ってなさそうなんだもの。→ビーケーワン：あまのじゃく日本風俗学
もとい。
二つを読み合わせてぼんやりとアタマに浮かんできたのは以下の点。
- 近代マーケティングは行き詰まっているか？ （←そんなことは思ってもいないけど問題を初期化するための定義）
- マーケティングモンスターであるところの『ブランド』の存在。
- こと『ブランド』たるものは、分節化が適わないような、つまり非高等感覚の極みである「自分の体に取り込みたい」という欲求までも喚起させるものなのではないだろうか？
- 自分の普段の感覚を1次元引いて（退化させてというか積分させてというか）見るとどうなる？
- さらには感覚のカニバリズムであったりアミニズムであったり。マッシュ。
- もう一次元一般化してみると。傍目八目、藪睨み、見立ての構図。目を細めて大観を得る。…など？
何はともあれ昼休みにコーヒーを飲みながらぼーっと考えるのにはちょうどいい議案でございます。

以下、思い出話。
たしかはじめて坂井さんとすれ違ったのは「東京ソフトウォーズ」とかいう深夜番組で、僕が放送作家の端くれとして業界で仕事をしはじめてそれなりに顔が売れてきた矢先、翌春からは不本意にも(?)広告代理店に就職することが決まったという冬のこと。知り合いのTVプロデューサーから頼まれて出場した事があったのでした。
そして数年後、とある機会に南平台にあったWater Studioに伺う事があり、既に大御所であるにも関わらずふんわりとした雰囲気に共鳴し、その後何かと声をかけていただくようになったのでした。
ある夏の夕暮れに坂井さんのご自宅の屋上で盛大な流しそうめんをしたことも懐かしい。
てんぷらを揚げる大役をおおせつかったのですが、人数が多すぎて油がどんどん酸化してしまい何人かの人にはでろでろのてんぷらを出してしまったことが今でも悔やまれます。
料理だけは失敗したことがなかったのに…
その時に得た教訓：ごま油は酸化しづらいので偉い
当時では画期的過ぎたゲームの企画なんかもやりましたね……。
今なら技術的にもできそうではありますが。
