なんつう姑息
前から気づいてはいたのです。
ナンシー小関という人がナンシー関もどきの芸をmixi上で披露しているということは。
まぁ「ただ趣味の範囲なんだろうなあ」と思っていのですが気づいたら本まで出していたという始末。
版元はKKベストセラーズだという。
大手じゃん。いいのかぁ？
そういえば未だにKKベストセラーズとワニブックスの関係性がよく判っていないことを思い出してしまった。昔Up to Boysで連載持ってたのに。
まぁそんなことはどうでもいい。
表紙はこんな感じらしい。

オマージュですかそうですか。
「大人気サイト」というのはmixiのことですか。
ご商売熱心なことで。
僕自身は故ナンシー関さん（わぁー「故」に「さん」づけだぁ…）とは感情移入するほど近かったわけでも無く、仲のいい芸人さんのライブの打ち上げで顔をあわせれば挨拶したり流れでカラオケに行ったり下北にきんときと飯を食いに行ったら毒舌女性業界人軍団が毒を吐きながら宴会しているのにかちあってしまい嘗めるようにとがった視線を投げかけられたりしたことがある程度の適当な関係だったのでわりかしフラットに見ることができるのですが、ちょっとこの単行本の登場には絶句ものなのです。
本の内容については読んでないのでなんともいえないのではありますが、以前mixiで見かけた際に「Photoshopで作った習作に、中二病っぽいよくあるナンシー節をくっつけてみたのね。ふむふむ」とスルーしていた程度なのであまり記憶にはあるわけもなく、しかしどうやらそのスルーしていたものをアッセンブリして本が出来上がっているようなのです。
うぅーんむ。

blog界隈でもさざ波のように話題は広がっているようでして、ざざっといくつかのblogを経巡るとなんとなく内容はつかめました。

読んでいて面白いものは面白いのでただ楽しめばいいと思うのですが（それがパクリ本であれこういった形のblogであれ）、どうもなんだかナンシーさんが神格化されすぎているのもなんだかなぁ、と同時代をすれ違ったりパルコ劇場の楽屋口の狭い階段を譲り合ったことのある身からすると居心地が悪かったりするのもまた事実なのです。
ナンシー関は、自分を「異形」「規格外」と規定し、世間体を捨て去ったスタンスから、「世間を語る」「彫る」ということが、唯一無二の芸風に繋がっていたと思う。とか
ナンシー関の作品は、この世にはいないはずの自分自身が語る、ある意味「神の視点」であり、そこにファンたちは安心して「基準」を任せられた所以でもあると思う。とかここらへんですね。
それはナンシー関の「覚悟」でもあるといえる。
どうも思い起こすに、単なる天然だったような気がするんですよねぇ。
天然で抉るような視線を持っていて、それをどうにかして誰かにしゃべりたがっていて、たまたま天然で文章がうまくて、たまたま消しゴムが目の前にあった、それだけだったような気がするんですわ。
（だから無二の才能なんだ、ともいえますが）
例えばこんなことがありました。
ある休日の昼下がり。先輩の編集者の家に行きだらだらと手料理を作りあい、ぐだぐだと夜まで飲んだくれるという会をしていたと思いねえ。
誰が見るとも無くつけていたテレビにはTBSのバラエティ番組が写っていました。
すると当時局アナだった渡辺真理がタレントのくだらぬ突っ込みに対して、ちょこっと小首をかしげるようななんというか犬っぽいしかめっ面をカメラに向かって数フレームかましてくれたのでした。
それを見ていたみんなが誰ともなく「あーナンシーが見たら騒ぐよなぁ」と話していた瞬間、電話が鳴り響いたのです。
そう、ナンシーさんからの電話が。
「今の見たぁ？」からはじまるそのセリフは想像したとおりでした。
まくし立てるだけまくし立て一息ついた頃に「ねぇ、いまカッキーがメシ作ってウチで飲んでるんだけど、直美ちゃん来れない？」と誘いかけたら「いや、あたしこれから今の話を山田奈保子にも電話しなきゃならないから。じゃっ」と勢いよく切られたのでした。（確か山田奈保子じゃなかったかなぁ… うろ覚え）
それからあるときはみんなでカラオケに行ったらば人が歌っている途中に「なにその選曲、つまんなーい」と勝手に終了ボタンを押したり、そのくせ自分は学園天国を「練習しなきゃー」と10回続けて歌いまくられたりということもあったりして。「ハリウッドスキャンダル」のどこが悪いんだってのｺﾞﾙｧ。あ。「バスストップ」だったかな？ 「コーラスライン」？
こんな風に誰に見せる目的があるわけがなくてもいつでもどこでもこんな具合だったわけでして、生き方として自然にナンシー風（ガレのガラス細工に非ず）だったと思うんですよね。
逆に、ナンシーさんの文筆に「？」を感じたこともありました。
いつだったか週刊誌の連載の中でともさかりえについて「顔が曲がっている」と評してしまったときのことでした。
僕らギョーカイ人はこれを見て「えー、ナンシーさんてばこんなストレートに見たまんまのこと書いちゃって…」「これはナシでしょ…」「疲れてるのかなぁ」とよるとさわると大騒ぎしたものでした。（冗談ではなくその週は飲みながら何度もこの話から盛り上がった）
それくらい編集者界隈はあの連載に注目もしていたし、そういった意味ではある種あの頃の時代の基準ともなっていたのでしょう。
（各編集部にちょっと太った女の子がいると「SPA!のナンシー」「CanCamのナンシー」と呼ばれるようになったのとはたぶんそんなには関係ない）
そんなナンシー関に比して、今回の本はちょっとねぇ、が過ぎると思うのです。
連載のたった一回にちょっとぶれたような文章が出てしまうととたんに激しく突っ込むような編集者たちに揉まれていたナンシー関さんと、ぬるまっこい自分のファンを集めてコミュニティを作り（「似てない」と指摘するとコミュから排除したりもしてたそうです）スタンプ芸を溜め込んでいた件の輩とは較べる気にもなりません。
名前も、手法も。
生きていればギャグになるでしょう。
でもね、そうじゃないし。
普通にテレビを見ていても彼女の連載を目にしても心の中のナンシーが僕らになにかを問いかけてきていました。それがいわゆるナンシー的なものだったわけです。基準というか目線というか。
大月隆寛の「いつも心にナンシーを」はそういう意味だったのでしょう。
ではナンシー小関が僕らの心に残したものはというと、ちょっと言葉には表しにくいんですがたぶん 「こういうことはまさかやらないだろう」「え？ 臆面もなくやっちゃう人いるんだ」「は？ それを賛美しちゃう人までいるのぉ……」 というなんともいえないひざかっくん三段攻撃が日本という国に存在しうると知らしめてくれたことくらいでしょうか。
痛くもなんともないけどやるせなさだけが残ります。
盛大にdisるしかないですな。
しかし今から考えると自分の消しゴムスタンプ彫っておいてもらえばよかったなぁ。なで肩のYさんあたりに頼んで。（謎）

長州力と長州小力、あるいはアントニオ猪木とアントニオ小猪木とかはいいと思うんですよねー。
本人が存命だしまだまだ元気だから。
それがあってこそネタになり芸になるわけです。
僕なんかはルパン三世にみる山田康雄と栗田貫一の交代劇ですらなんとはなしの気持ち悪さが残るんですよね。
「ご本人が亡くなってるんだから仕方なかろう」という思いもありつつ「でも物真似でやり通すこともねーんじゃん？」ともやはり思ってしまうわけでして。
それに栗田貫一の山田康雄＠ルパン三世の物真似の素晴らしいクオリティと比べて、小関氏の物真似は非常にチープだというのもありますしね。
（クオリティが高いといってもご本人存命時の話ですが、それにしたって本人の目の前でやっていたのは好感が持てるというもの）
どこかで誰かナンシー小関の顔写真拾ってきてPhotoshopのRubber Stamp Effectかけて「死人に口なし」「宗家簒奪」と白抜き極太明朝を躍らせてくれまいかと思ったり思わなかったり。
（ホントはどーでもいい）

追記に対して……。
栗田貫一の交代直後のインタビューをまとめたことがあるのですが、故人を近くで見ていただけに、「ふーじこちゃんとか、ギャグをいってるときのルパンの声なら真似られても、かっこいいときのルパンなんか無理ですよ。山田さんのかっこよさはまねられませんよ」という、悲壮かつ玉砕の覚悟さえ伴う彼のことばと声はいまでも印象的です。それにくらべたら……。

栗貫については漏れ伝え聞いていたのですが、それでもやっぱりなんとはなしに落ち着かないんですよね……。
クオリティ自体は素晴らしいんですけど。（今は迷走気味なような気もします）
ナンツー姑息もといナンシー小関はクオリティ面からしても辛いっすね。
