エレベーターロジックと公徳心のない輩

いま仕事場としているビルには当然のことながらエレベーターが設置されている。
ビル全体をフロアごとに高層中層低層と3つのゾーンに分け、各ゾーンにつき8基ずつのエレベーターが稼動している。まぁそれなりに考えられている方だといえよう。

しかし昼飯時なんかにはどうしてもかなりの混雑はしてしまう。
そうすると必ずどっかのボケ親父が車椅子用の呼び出しボタンを押してしまうのだ。
まったくもってなんというか思わず殺意が沸いてくる。
あのなぁ…

すべての呼び出しボタンに「健常者用ボタン」と低い場所に設置されている「車椅子用ボタン」とが併設されているならばまぁ問題は少ない。（そういう場合にはきっとエレベーター機内にも低い位置に行き先ボタンが設置されているだろうしね）

んが、いま仕事場としているビルには車椅子用の呼び出しボタンは8基のうち1基にしか用意されておらず、エレベーター機内にもその基にしか低い位置の行き先ボタンは用意されていないのだ。

さてさて、どういうシチュエーションに怒っているかということをまとめると、

呼び出しボタンを押すと8基のうち一番早く着きそうなエレベーターに予告ランプがつく　（←通常モード）
しかし混んでいるのでどっかのバカが車椅子用のボタンを押してしまう
すると車椅子用のエレベーターも呼び出され、都合2基分予告ランプがつくということになる
（親父は「2基呼び出せたからきっと早くつくに違いない」とにんまり）

つまり、それまでは8台で相互調整して稼動していたものが、バカが考えもなしに車椅子用ボタンで呼び出したせいで7台でしか稼動しなくなるわけだ。当然その被害はビル全体までに及ぶ。
なんでこんな簡単なことに気づかないんだろうか。

車椅子用のボタンはどうあっても必要だ。
でなければ車椅子の方（もしくは背の低い子供など）が行き先ボタンを押すことができなくなってしまう。
だからこそ車椅子用ボタンがあるエレベーターを必要な階に優先的に回しているのだ。特別に相互調整のくびきから外してまでも。

それを「早く行きたい」とかいう浅い考えで使ってしまうという人間性がどうにも許せない。
第一ぜんぜん早くなんてならないし。
それに気づかないバカさ加減と公徳心のなさとに嫌気がさしてしまう。

ということでこないだ面接に来たおっちゃんが帰りしなに車椅子用ボタンを押してたのを見て落とすことに決めました。
技術者ならそれくらい気づけっての。（もちろん落とした決め手はそれだけじゃないけど）

で、エレベーターロジックの話に戻すが、混雑時には車椅子用ボタンが利かないようにするってのはどうだろうか？　（って誰に提案してるのだオレは）
混雑しているときには誰かしらに「●階をお願いします（降りたいのでボタンを押してください）」と言えるだろうからだ。

ことによると、この「車椅子用呼び出しボタン」の使用頻度を計測することによってビル全体の民度と賢さが測れるような気もしてきた。むぅん。「エレベーターロジック」という単語で「もしかして今さら権利主張するのかよ」どきっとする向きもあるかもしれませんが。それを藤原和博さんに謝られても仕方ないし（笑）　さてそんなS氏がヅラだとか聞いた覚えもありますがそれはどーでもいい話ですね。

いや、全然速くなりませんよ。
むしろ害悪。

なぜならば、（こんなことまで書かなきゃならんのか、と萎えますが）

1.二つのエレベーターを呼び出した
2.どっちかひとつが来る
3.当然その一台に乗る
4.呼び出されているもう一台のエレベーターはキャンセルされず、
　他の階で待っている人々に迷惑をかけながらも誰もいない階に呼ばれてしまう
5.無駄な動き
→ビル全体のパフォーマンスが落ちる

という流れがあるからです。
「公徳心がない」ってのはこういうことなんですよ。
もう少し考えましょうね。>名無しさん

あと「確立」ではなくて「確率」ね。

これらは両方押す理由にならないことにも気づきましょう。
なぜならば、2台呼び出したとしても「どちらかは誰も乗っていない（人数が少ない）」という可能性がかなりの確度でない限り無意味だからです。
両方混んでたらどうするんですか？ｗ

そういうことするヤツは身勝手ですから。

↑これも間違いですね。
「8台で最適化した上で当該階に着く」
と
「7台で最適化した上で当該階に着く」＋「1台を特別に呼び出す」
との比較になりますから。
算数レベルのお話ですからこれくらいはお分かりですよね？
※註：　前項が著しく減じた上で後項が増えてもしょーがねーんじゃね？　って意味です。
　　　　　理解を深めていただくため蛇足ながら補足させていただきます。

最適化ロジックに関しては個々のビルによって異なりますので一概には言えませんが、
車椅子用に呼び出された後のエレベーターの運行速度が格段に遅くなることを含めて考えれば、
健常者が二つのボタンを押すことは害悪以外の何者でもありません。

ですから、単純に“＋”以降の部分つまり「1台のエレベーターが平行してやってくる確率」を足し合わせて、それを「効能」と言うのは間違っている、ということはお分かりですよね？

＃それ以前に「確率」でも「効能」でもないと思いますが…

最後になりますが、上記のような意味合いから残念ながら私には貴方のおっしゃる

という部分が全く理解できません。

私的にもその方が正しいと思います。

んー。
あまりエレベーターロジックとかを真剣に考えられたことがない方なんですかね。
勉強というか算数レベル＋感情移入能力ですむレベルですが。

僕の書いた「特殊ケース」（＝「一概には言えない」と書いた部分）というのは、
たとえば階高が5階以下でエレベーターが複数基あるような場合を指します。ざっくりと、ですが。

こういう場合には、

（各駅停車した場合の時間）
（直行した場合の時間）
（1/2程度の割合で停車した場合の時間）

を比べてもさして差はなかったりします。
（いや、スケーラブルに変わっては来るのですが…　ここら辺は説明が難しいやぃ）

もとい。
銀座のAppleストアのエレベーターを思い起こしてもらうといいのですが、
そのような場合には停止ボタンはおろか開閉ボタンすらなくても
特段スピードの差はなくなってしまいます。
→もちろん「人が気にしてしまう閾値」との兼ね合いという意味で、です

ここら辺までの事は肌感覚で感じられないと、ロジックを組む側というか
サービス提供サイドには不向きなのかもしれませんね。
同じような部分に立ち入りますが、
「車椅子用ボタンが押されると一般ボタンがキャンセルされる」
という仕様は、普通は採用されることはないと思いますよ。
これは可能性の問題云々ではなく、一般のごく普通に生活している人が
思うがままに立ち振る舞った場合の感情の動きなどを想像すれば自明なはずです。
平文では説明しづらいので割愛しますけれど。

ビルの効率どうのこうのと、難しい資本主義社会の問題がある事は理解しますが、まことに勝手な自分勝手な利己的な意見ですが、弱者の一人として、「ありがたく」思ってしまいます。
（だって、助かるもん）
ex.新宿の映画館。終了と同時に入場者はエレベータに殺到します。映画館の係りの方は人を捌くために通常ボタン＋車椅子用ボタンを押して待機します。＞ありがたいです。

さて、

ええ、あります。
ただし想定できないくらいリッチな環境の場合でのみで、だということなります。
前にも書いたとおり「5階くらいの低層なのに」「複数（4台程度以上？）のエレベーターがあり」「健常者用と車椅子用のボタンがある」という場合でしょう。
そういう場所ご存知ですか？

それと「（車椅子用ボタンを押してくれて）ありがたいです」というのもちょっとおかしな話だと感じます。
いいですか？
健常者が必要もないのに両方のボタンを押すことがありがたいわけがないじゃないんじゃですか？（理由はくどくど書いてますがまた後述します）

車椅子用ボタンを車椅子の方や背の低い子供が使うことは全く問題はないでしょう。
バンバン使えばいい。
なんとなればそれが無ければエレベーターに一人では乗れないからです。

理由は（先ほどの理由にもなりますが）
「他の誰かが降りる階でボタンを押してくれる（ゆっくり降りられる）」
「（車椅子用ボタンで呼び出されると）スタート＆ストップが遅くなる」
「（両方押すと）そもそも映画館のフロアにエレベーターが来るのが遅くなる」
からです。

それと

はちょっと説明がめんどくさくなるので割愛しますね。

Just called mine in Jacksonville, FL and they said only stores in New York and Chicago are getting them. Not sure how much I believe a TJ Maxx rep though…Ally, maybe it wouldn"t go so slow you if you weren"t recording at the same time? Also, isn"t your phone jailbroken? Okay, I was being a ditz. I did have to setup the account on the coworker"s phone. I had not then s et up a Mobile Me account on my phone. I had skipped that step and went straight to the Find My iPhone app to log in. Works like a charm.I think Full Screen Safari and Haptic Pro are my favourites. So many superb little tweaks out there though. To anyone who puts down the Jailbreak world, you ought to bear in mind that a lot of your iOS 5 features have already been done.I would love to give this app a spin….if it let me install it on my iphone 3g running iOS 4. Ether Google gooffed(Which is my guess as its giving me a API call error instead of some standard message) or Google has really pissed me off.
