土曜深夜のバーホッピング

土曜日のこと。
22時くらいになってルネサンスFさんに誘われて飲みに出る。
霞町から笄町に向かっててくてくあるいていくと、そこかしこに浴衣のグループが見える。
麻布十番祭りの流れかな。
晩夏らしい風情なり。

KISSAKOでまずはワイン。

ここは前ーにスポーツバーというかスポーツ居酒屋（鉄板焼き？）だったはずだが、きれいに改装して高級感あふれるワインバーになっている。
んでグラスで頼めるものを、ということで夏らしくジンファンデルのこっくりとした果実味のあるタイプのものをオーダー。
ん？　Fさんってばなんだかオーブリオンとか飲んでるんですけどもー。
むぅ割り勘負け必至。

さてこのFさん、一部ネット界隈では「謎の人物」ということになっているらしいのだが、元々某有名酒販店にいらした方で日本酒もワインも非常に詳しいのだ。
どこぞでの垂直の会とかでご一緒してからなにかとお世話になっている。
しかし数年くらいブランクがあったのだが再会したのはこのblogが縁だというから不思議なものだ。

たまにこういうことがないとモチベーションも沸かないしね。
東京レストランガイドというサイトでなにかと書いていたら２ちゃんねるで叩かれてて…　とか相変わらずの毒舌っぷりは健在のご様子。この人は冗談みたいにいろんな店にキチンと行ってるのだが、普通の人にはそれは信じられないんだろうなぁ。
「しかしblogを見ただけでよく僕だってわかりましたねー」と聞いてみると、何かの検索でblogにヒットして内容を読んだらすぐに分かったということらしい。どうやら「あんな店であんな飲み方とか食い方してるやつはそうはいない」んだそうです。そんなもんですかぃのぉ。
「ODINの菊地さんと浅間の畠山くんと友達ってところで一目置いている」とか言われても褒められている気がいたしませんですし。
また、以前からauthenticbar.comはよく見ていたとのことで「どこがやってるんだろう、この不思議な店のセレクトは…」と謎に思っていたのだという。謎もなにも、僕が個人的に仲良くなったバーのWebを作っているだけで、お店からは一切お金ももらっていない趣味サイトなんですけんども、と説明差し上げる。
…などと旧交を温めつつ一杯飲んで次に移動。

そういえば思い出した。
Fさんにはどこかでやったワイン会の時にいじめられた事があったのだ。
たまたまその店に日本酒が置いてあることを知り、僕と畠山くんに完全ブラインドで利き酒させて「当ててみ」としれっと責め立ててきたのでした。
仕方がないからこっちもこめかみから煙が立つほど真剣に利き酒して「浦霞の禅、ただし若干の瓶老ね、温度管理が数日30度を超えたくらい」とパーフェクト回答をしたものでした。ほっほっほっほ。
もうあんなに疲れることは二度とやんねー。

んが、移動の途中でLes Vinumの看板に引っかかってしまう。

ここも当然のように知り合いなので「シャンパン一杯だけでもいいかな？」と勝手を言って店内に入る。
ほっほー、お値段も安いし明るくていいお店っぽい。メニューも気が利いていてそそられる。
今度きてみようっと。
シャンパンをさっと飲み干して約10分で移動。

続いてはElevage(エレヴァージュ)。

土間土間の隣の二階といえば通りがいいかな？
ここは確か元はワインバーだったはず。名前失念。
リクルート（当時）の高城さんとよく来ていたがここんとこご無沙汰だったのですっかり様変わりしてしまっていた。あクリニャンクールだ。セルフで解決。


で、このElevageはワインとモルトの店で、特にモルトは壁の棚から勝手にセレクトしてハーフから頼めるという珍しいシステム。
今回は三人ということで6種類をハーフで頼むことに。
だがFさんが選ぶものがチャーが入りまくったというか焦げ焦げしたオールドビンテージものばかり。
もう一人いらした方はモルト初心者だということで舌のバランスをとるためにグレンキンチーを一杯もらう。

Grant'64、Aberlour8y(old bottle)、Inchgower'67、Lognmorn、Strathisla、Whyte and Mackay てな感じか。

話している途中でODINにでも行こうということになり銀座に電話してみると今日は菊地さんは恵比寿にいるとのこと。早速タクシーを飛ばして恵比寿に。

バーホッピング4軒目は恵比寿ODIN。

まずは喉の渇きを湿らせるためにモスコミュール。Fさんは「ジンフィズを頼むと同業者っぽくて嫌だから」とジンバック。全然かわんないと思います。目配りとかで大体わかるもんだし。
この日は桃が美味しいということなのでベリーニを頼んだりクォーターデッキを頼んだり。
出版の話なんかもしたりしなかったりー。

※後日菊地さんから「Fさんは怖い人だと思っていましたが案外普通でした」とメールが来ました。
　そんなに怖がられてる人だったの？？？？　ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙ（AA省略）

そういえば誕生日が近かったので菊地さんから一杯おごってもらったのでした。

バーホッピングの締めはアボットチョイスに。

結局最後はここに流れる。
うだうだと5時くらいまで飲んで終了。
7時間で5軒か。こんなもんかな。
