出エジプトな昼飯。そしておやつまで

11時前に松尾大社からクルマで出発。
目指すは嵐山というか嵯峨にある鯛とうふのお店「竹乃家」さん。時間がかかるかと思っていたら案に相違して10分程度で近くまでは辿りついてしまったのだな。

途中「美空ひばり記念館」とか「オルゴール館」など全国どこにあってもリロケータブルな（←馬から落馬的用法）観光名所に踏み込んでしまい、全国どこにでもいそうな修学旅行生ががずらり埋め尽くす道をモーゼよろしく分け入って進むという希有な体験をしてしまった。同志よ日本は豊かです。
店のすぐ近くについてからも、雑誌に書いてあった地図が完璧に間違っていて10分くらいぐるぐる回ってしまったがなんとか昼の時間には到着。
さてさて、ここの売りは鯛を丸ごと一尾塩焼きにしたものを入れた豆腐の鍋なのだ。それも近所の森嘉のお豆腐を使っているという贅沢さ。
しかしさ、なんといってもまずは見た目で圧巻だわよね。

ケータイで写真を撮ってさくまあきらさんに自慢がてら送信。するとさくまさんご夫妻は室町の『ガスパール』というフレンチでランチ中だとのこと。メールで午後にお遭いする約束をしているとその間にスープがくつくつと湧いてきたですよ。
まずはスープを一口いただくと、口中に香ばしく焼かれた鯛の皮目の軽やかな旨味と骨からでている出汁の芳醇さが広がってくる。んー。しかしよく考えたら昨日も湯豆腐だったじゃねーか＞オレ　でもこれはこれで全くの別物だわ。ふるふると揺れはじめた豆腐をそっといただく。中心はまだ50度程度なんだろうか。じんわりと豆の甘みと豆乳の青臭さまでが広がってくるようだ。これはうまいわ。
スープ自体は鯛の塩焼きを使っている関係もあるのか、はたまた僕らが関東者だというので強めに塩を引いているのだろうか分からないが、若干塩味がきつめなのだが、味わいの濃さと引き立てあってとてもおいしい潮汁となっている。酒が進むはずなのだがクルマ運転してるしなぁ…
見事な鯛の塩焼きをほとんど骨だけにして、もちろん豆腐も平らげると雑炊の出番なのだ。
雑炊にいたっては「松茸」「鳥」そして今日は「鯛」の三連投だぁ。
これまたすこぶるうまし。
そしてお会計でまたびっくり。一人3,000円なんですと。
店が分かりづらい場所にあることを除けば誰にでもおすすめできるお店ですな。嵯峨・嵐山に支店ができたようなのでそっちはすごく分かりやすいみたいだけどもね。

お腹いっぱいになった我々は、続いて前日タクシーの運転手さんに聞いた「護王神社」に向かう。
護王神社は狛犬ならぬ狛猪で有名な神社。KQZ母・芳枝さんは猪年なのでお守りなど求める。
続いては寺町の「精課堂」にゴーゴゴー！
去年来た時には定休日だったので泣く泣く帰ったのだった。捲土重来の時は来た。
そして15分後。
絹さやの箸置き、茶托代わりの小皿を5客ずつ購入。
それと前に名取にもらった錫のチロリに合う杯を探していたのだが単品ではいまいちなかったのでチロリとセットになった桐箱組み合わせものをもう一セット購入。
冬にお燗酒の会をやる時に使いますよーーー＞日本酒の関係者各位

さぁてお次は嘯月（しょうげつ）の和菓子を食いにいくのだ。

ホテルの部屋に回線が繋がっていなくてダイアルアップだったもんで書き込みしていませんでした。
すみません。
京都行は追って手直しを含めてアップしますけれど、最終日はばたばたしてましたので大丸地下で「いずう」の鯖の姿寿司と小鯛寿司という安易な方向に流れてしまいました。
あと三嶋亭のすき焼きコロッケ。これは意外とお奨めかも。
その後に嘯月に行って和菓子を買い込んで東名高速のパーキングエリアであわせていただきました。
