理系男子はなぜもてないか、について

モテない男とは、問題解決能力が高すぎる男ではないかと。

むーん。
しかしshi3zさんの書き方からして既に問題解決能力値全開バリバリなんすよね。ヨッ、理系！
確かに年収100億円クラスでも猫以外の女性にはモテナイと言い張っている31歳男子も知っている。
彼も問題解決能力が極めて高いのは確かだ。

さて、しかし、それでなのだが、実はそんなことにはあまり興味はない。
まぁネタフリとかマクラってやつね。

続き。
非理系男子≒女性は「論理よりも倫理、理屈よりも情緒を」好むという一般的にもよく言われている傾向があるということから、

そうすると、パズルゲームのように高度に抽象化された問題解決ゲームが女性に人気があるのは不思議ですが、これはまた別の要因によるものでしょう。

と疑問を投げかけている。
確かに「ぷよぷよ」「テトリス」を延々とやり続けている女子はかなり多い。未だにスーパーファミコン版のぷよぷよをやり続けている30歳女子というのが前の会社にいたが、それを女子というか腐女子というかは意見が分かれるところだ。生物学上はもちろん女子のはずだが確かめたくもない。というわけで偉いぞ○○。（と、同期の名前を書きそうになったりして）

もとい。
しかし、翻って考えてみるに「ぷよぷよ」「テトリス」等よりさらに高度に抽象化された問題解決能力を要求されるルービックキューブは女性は苦手だったような気がするのだ。いや、果てしなく遠い小学生時代の記憶なんだけれども、苦手という以前に触りもしなかったという記憶がある。

これはもしかしたら「見て、分かる」という直観性が関係しているのではないかと個人的には考えているのですよ。鳥瞰性ってのとはまた違ってもっとシンプルな見た目と結果の関連ね。
「ぷよぷよ」にしても「テトリス」「コラムス」「パズルボブル」といった女子に人気のあるゲームは、すべて一目見ただけでなにをすればいいのか、なにをしたら高得点に繋がるのかが分かり、一回やってみるだけで連鎖やボーナスステージといったギミックが無理なく理解できるように用意されている。

話を元に戻すと、「ぷよぷよ」「テトリス」の分かりやすさに対してルービックキューブを初見でなにをすればいいのか分かるのには恐らくIQが200あっても足りないだろう。いや足りなかったし。もちろんやり始めればそうでもないんだけど、その前にとっつきにくいので（少なくとも上記の仮説によれば）女性には不向きなのでは、と思うのだ。んで分かってないマーケッターは各面にキティちゃんのシールを貼り付けたりして大失敗をこく、というわけですね。あくまでもたとえ話の話だけどもさ。

話を理系男子に戻して無理やりまとめると「理系ならぬ女性にモテるためには一目で分かりやすくしろ」ということです。（え？　これでいいのか？？）

それはそれとして、もう一つ問題点があるのです。
shi3zさんはサラリと、

と書かれてますが、その苛烈な競争に勝利した上でやっと獲得できた彼女は、申し訳ないが殆どがやはりゲルマニウムなのですね。もうね、ゴールドでもプラチナでもなくルビーでもサファイアでもなく、ましてやダイヤモンドであるわけもなく、あくまでもゲルマニウム。
しかも「理系クラス内に於ける希少なる女子」という地位に甘やかされて「あたしはプラチナなのよねっ、跪きなさい」くらいな勢いで盛大に勘違いしてしまっている場合が無視できないほど多いのだ。希土類のくせに。
でもって周囲の理系男子どもも戦後まもなく物資難の闇市界隈で残飯汁やメチルアルコール主体のカストリ焼酎を有難がって押し戴いていたように、たかだか思い上がったゲルマニウム女を賛美せざるを得ない状況に追い込まれてしまうというわけだ。理系食堂で椅子引いたりするなよな、実験用白衣同士でよー。ああああ脱線。
また女性側にしても、若くして世間知がない状態で環境がゆえに巻き起こってしまった過分なモテモテ経験がその後の人生において深く暗い影を落とすであろうことは、僕の出身高校のOGの独身比率が笑っちゃうほど高いことからも見て取れる。（出身高校は男女比が4:1程度なのだ）
また極々稀にゲルマニウムではなく勘違いもしていない本物のダイヤモンドもいたりするのだが、それは誤差の範囲内の僥倖であるのは論をまたない。（追記：shi3zさんはその僥倖を得た方だということがこのエントリーを書いた後にわかりました。さすがは社長！）

しかしここに救いもある。
そういった状況に追い込まれていたとしても人間と言うものは無意識のウチに「やっぱり何か違う」と思うもので、その逃避先としての「自分には妹（ゲームのキャラクター）が居ますから」とか「猫ちゃんかわいいにゃん」はあえて許そうではないか、とまで思っている。
4年間あるいは6年間のこのような理系生活にどっぷりと浸って社会にでた理系男子が一般の女性に対してある種の無気力さを呈してしまうのは、上述したような思い上がり理系腐女子とそれを崇め奉るしかない理系男子といった構造的欠陥の責任でもあるのではないかと思ってしまっている。
僕が過度に思い上がった女が大っ嫌いなのは一部で有名なスチュワーデス嫌いや女子アナ嫌いと根は同じなのだが、理系女子の場合には上述したように「劣悪な環境の中での希少価値」という点を勘違いしてしまっていて見てらんない、ってことなのだ。砂漠にオアシスだと思ってたら世間的に見たら火中の栗だったって笑い話にもなりゃしないってことだよ織間くん（仮名）。

話を戻して無理やりまとめると、「理系女子が勘違いし始めると見ちゃいらんない」「そんな勘違い理系女子をちやほやするくらいならあえて二次元や猫にゃんに逃避してもお父さんは許すぞ」と。（なんかこれも違う気がするがなぁ）

10年前の論文だが、女性サイドから見た場合の理系男子≒おたく男子の価値の見直しとその落とし方、付き合い方が書かれている。
こういう風に分かりやすい理系男子になってサルベージしてくれる乙女を待っている、ってのも一つの手なのかもしれない。
と、無責任に締めてそろそろ寝ようっと。
高い問題解決能力をわざわざ落とすことなんて出来ないのだから。

ちなみにウチもよく「どこで奥さんと知り合ったんですか」などと訊かれることが多く、その度に「僕がまだジャニーズJr.にいた時に彼女がオリキだったんですよー」と普通に答えているのだが、それを信じてくれた人はまだ3人しかいない。
世の中なんか間違っている。
