うまい羊肉第三弾
メーテルにそっくりなことでつと有名なフラワーデザイナーのグロレイさまが今日ヒマだというので一緒に食事に行くことに。なんでもラム肉におおいに興味を持たれているらしく今日も今日とて中目黒の鐡玄に出陣。なんか三週間連続なんすけど。
あらかじめ電話で三人でと予約して入ってみると中はがらがら。ま、月曜の早い時間だからな。
生ラムレバー刺、塩焼き枝豆、旬の和野菜サラダ、ラムロース、骨付きラム、焼き野菜をオーダー。
鳴戸金時とグロレイ様は高校の同級生で、さらには佐野電磁さんまでもいたという。当時佐野くんは「喋りすぎでうるさい」と言われていたという話を酒の肴にしてビールをごきゅごきゅ。
生ラムレバーは相変わらずんまい。ロースは先週松村さんや柴尾さんと来た時よりいい肉だった。骨付きラムをかぶりついてはぐはぐはぐ。せっかくだから塩ホルモン三種盛りも頼んでみる。これは豚のホルモンですな。シンプルで旨い。より焼酎にあうような。焼酎は「一升五百文」という芋焼酎を水割りで。芋の甘さもさることながら香ばしさがよくでていて豚肉にあう。
相当お腹も一杯になったのだがやっぱりしゃぶしゃぶも行きたくなってきて２人前だけ頼んでみる。が… あれ？ 毎回毎回ここのしゃぶしゃぶは肉が違いすぎるなぁ。どちらかというと脂身が少ないヒレ肉がほぼシャーベット状になって出てきた。ちょいと残念なり。
よくよく考えてみると、焼く用の肉の質が一番良かったのは名取とかと一番はじめに来た時で、しゃぶしゃぶは前回が一番よかったような記憶がある。仕入れが一定しないのは仕方ないけど一言いってほしいところなりよ。
てなことを話していたらお客さんがちらほら入って来始めている。ありゃ、前にいた会社でお世話になってた先輩が。しかも女性連れ。あべ静枝さんのラグビーチームの主将でもあり（僕はマネージャーということになっているらしい）営業マンとしても非常に尊敬の出来る先輩なのでぶしつけながらも声をかけて連絡先が書いてある名刺を押し付けてしまう。
早い時間にお腹一杯になったので解散となる。ふぅ。
