食いしん坊来たりて水炊きを食らう

昼過ぎに起きて鳥がらを煮出しつつパンを捏ねる。もう手慣れたもんでつややかふんわりとした練り上がりに満足。夕方コイズミくんと福本くんが鳥の水炊きを食べに来るというので近所のスーパーに少々お買い物に。水菜やらキノコやら白菜やら豆腐やらなにやら。昨日から合わせて10時間は煮込んだ鳥がらスープは白濁して美味しくなってきている。つか、これが主役ですな。やっぱり。
7時過ぎ、コイズミくんがビールとル・ショコラ・ドウ・アッシュのケーキを手土産にやって来る。まずは鯛の刺身と茄子と茗荷の刻んだのをつつく。ほどなくして福本くんが来て水炊きのはじまりはじまり。
とりあえず大信州の薄濁り微発泡を空ける。一杯目は上澄みだけ。ほうほう、夏を越えて味が乗っている。鈴伝の冷蔵庫はやっぱり確かですにゃ。鍋ができあがってきた。まずはなにも入れずに肉だけ。歯ごたえを身上とした香ばしく焼いた地鶏もいいけど、やわやわと口の中でほどける煮込んだ鳥肉の旨さには宮川の赤鳥くらいがあうと思うのだ。特にここはプロ御用達なので捌いてからすぐ手に入るのがいい。冷凍していない鳥がらから取ったスープの香ばしさはやっぱり違うしー。
せっかく醤油とかカボスとかもあったのだがもう塩と胡椒だけで十分なお味。塩は40種類以上のコレクションからゲラントのフルール・ド・メールをチョイス。「最後のうどんが出来なくなるから…」と止めないとどんどんスープをお代わりしてしまうわけで。途中、昼間作ったパンが焼けたのでそれもつまみ食い。やっぱ焼き立てはなんつったって旨いし。
食べながら業界の由無し話。酒も上下ゆすって白濁した薄濁りをくいくいと行く。途中で焼酎もばかすか飲み始める。健治郎、紫尾山、風に吹かれて…などなど。
鍋の最後に佐藤養助うどんで締めたところで気がついたらもう12時過ぎ。あらあら時間の経つのは早いっすなー。
